My kids have tried using different travel bags throughout their young basketball careers. Travel bags are everywhere when you play AAU, YBOA, or another form of select travel basketball. Some teams opt to have their logos and individual names embroidered on each bag so each players knows which is their's. Most teams just bring what they got, which sometimes isn't much. Suitcases are bulky and most travel bags are not designed for the basketball athlete in mind. Well, Sport SAQ has resolved most of these problems with their Hoop SAQ. A wonderful bag with more space than you can possibly need for those 3 day AAU weekends. Heck, this bag would be great for the summer season and those five day camps. You can definitely fit enough clothes, a basketball, shoes, water bottles, accessories (don't forget that cell phone) and personal grooming items.
The Hoop SAQ has a seperate compartment to carry your shoes shoes. It also features a zipper compartment for your basketball. The opening is a tight fit for regulation size basketballs. But, I like would rather the compartment be a bit tight rather than floppy and loose. The Hoop SAQ also has two seperate bottle holders to carry your favorite sports drink. You'll have to provide the sports bottles. Another unique feature is the removable personal accessory pocket. It has several different sized elastic pouches inside to hold your cologne, shaving, and personal gooming items. It zips right back into place after use.

You can order the Hoop SAQ with different color panels if you don't like the all black look. They offer team color panel kits. So, you can select between the stock black of the colors shown below. They don't offer an embroidery service. But, you can take the HoopSAQ to your local shop and add it. I think it makes a great looking team bag. Bottom line, it holds more than enough "stuff" including a basketball and shoes. This is an awesome sport-specific travel bag!
